The Northwestern University Law Alumni Association hosted a reception for outgoing Dean David Van Zandt on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at the University Club in Chicago, Illinois. Van Zandt has been the school's eighth president and dean for the past 15 years and a faculty member since 1985. He will leave the University at the end of the year to become president of The New School in New York City. The Alumni Association has created the David E. Van Zandt Innovation Fund in honor of his service.
